  • How do I register my church on myKanisa?

    Registering your church with myKanisa is quite easy. Remember, churches get a management platform to collaborate and manage their church, an application to communicate and connect with church members and market your church ministry.

    To sign up:

    1. Visit our website www.morfieltd.co.ke to sign up.
    Fill the signup online form and make your subscription payment as per your church subscription category.
    An agent from Morfie LTD will call you to verify your information and activate your church account.

    Please note that you will be given one extra month for free on your first subscription and bonuses of bulk SMS.

  • A management module is a collaboration privilege that allows different teams in your church to access different management interfaces and perform different functions.

    myKanisa solution provides you with these 4 management modules:

    1. Secretariat module: These module allows your church secretary or rather secretariat team to manage members, children, departments, attendances, events, appointment Reservations, announcements & send Bulk SMSs.
    2. Finance Module: Your church treasury team can manage the various church transactions, revenues and expenditures, finance voteheads and bank accounts and generate finance reports with ease.
    3. Media module: myKanisa allows you to have a church private social platform that can be regulated by your media team. The team can also publish devotional contents on myKanisa.
    4. Minister's Module: Your church ministry team (Pastor's & Counsellors) can be able to create appointment sessions and publish devotional contents for your church.

  • As myKanisa Team, we understand that there maybe members in your church who do not have access to smart devices, it is for this reason that we give you free limited Bulk SMS every month, once you make your subscripton payment. Apart from that, we also give you free email notifications and app push notifications to keep your church members informed and connected.

    In case you exhaust your monthly free bulk SMS, you are allowed to buy extra SMS tokens at fee of Kshs. 0.7/SMS.

  • We always value our customers at all times and that's why we promise to give you a smooth termination. myKanisa allows your church to host it's data which is very important to you. When you decide to terminate your account we will organise and package your church data and send it to your church email, Dropbox or preferred storage device.

    Please note, to terminate your account you must fill the termination form and you will not be refunded any payments to myKanisa during or before termination. Your account will be inactivated immediately after termination and deleted permanently two weeks after termination.

  • How do I enroll to be an online pastor on myKanisa App?

    myKanisa allows online pastors to publish devotional posts, get followers, receive donations and start conversations with their followers.

    Here is how to enroll as an online pastor:

    1. Open myKanisa APP.
    2. On the app navigation bar, you will see the profile icon. Click on the icon to access the profile page.
    3. On the profile interface you will see a button labelled Become An Online Minister, click on the button to enroll as an online minister
    4. There are 3 sets of information you are required to sign up as an Online Minister:
    1. Profile Information
    2. myKanisa Wallet information.
    3. Payment information.
    To verify your information, you will get an OTP verification code in your provided contact information.

  • Online ministers have an advantage of posting devotional contents (images, videos and audio clips) and starting virtual crusades.

    Here is how to create and publish devotional contents.

    1. Open myKanisa App and go to your profile.
    2. While on the profile page, scroll down until you see a plus button on you right hand side.
    3. Click on the button to see the option of Images, Audio Devotions, Videos & Virtual crusade.
    4. From the options, choose the type of content you would want to publish.

  • Online Pastors have a wallet called myKanisa Wallet, where they can receive donations from people interacting with their ministry contents and would want to support their ministry.

    Your myKanisa Wallet is located on your profile section, at the top, there is a menu bar which when clicked, you'll see myKanisa wallet under "Account" section. You can be able to view your account balance and recent transaction on the wallet and you can also initiate a withdrawal.
    Please note that you cannot deposit money to your myKanisa Wallet. You only receive and withdraw.

  • Yes you can. Gospel musicians, Counsellors, Motivational Speakers etc. can register for the online ministers package and get to reach more people.

  • How can I create a myKanisa Account/Sign Up on myKanisa App?

    Want to create an account so you can start using this amazing fellowship app?

    Here are six easy steps to follow if you want to sign up for a myKanisa App account in 2022.

    1. Open the myKanisa app.
    2. Tap the profile icon (bottom right corner)
    3. Select "Sign up with phone or email."You can use your Google Account to create a myKanisa Account
    4. Enter your email address or phone number
    5. Set a password.
    6.Done - You have a myKanisa App Account

  • Once you register as a church member, you will be able to log in to your church after your church administrators have approved your registration.

    Here are the steps you have to follow if you want to register to your church.

    1. Open myKanisa App.
    2. At the top of the home/feed page, you will see a section with Log in and Register button.
    3. Click "Register" button
    4. Select the church you want to register to from the list of churches. (At the top there is a search bar that you can use to search for your church.)
    5. Read through the description of the church and click the register button at the bottom.
    6.Provide your information and agree to the terms and conditions then click register.
    7. Wait for your church administrator to approve you. Once you are approved, you will receive an email notification and app notification telling you that you can now go ahead and login to your church.

  • To be able to login on myKanisa App, you must first be registered. Your church administrators can register you from their backend myKanisa administration platform, or you could register yourself from myKanisa App and wait for their approval.

    If you are already registered, follow these steps to login to your church:

    1. Open myKanisa App.
    2. At the top of the home/feed page, you will see a section with Log in and Register button.
    3. Click Login button.
    4. Use your phone number and password to login. (If your administrator registered you from the myKanisa church administrator platform, you will get your first time login details on your registered email address.)

    If you do not remember your password or are having a hard time tracing your email sent login details, you can click forgot password to reset your password. Please note you must enable promotional messages to get password reset OTP code.

  • myKanisa registered churches and online pastors can be able to start virtual crusades/podcasts which you can join listen to and even react to by sending comments and likes.

    Here is how you can join these virtual crusades:

    1. Open myKanisa.
    2. Click on the crusade icon on the navigation bar.(Located at the bottom)
    3. Select the crusade you want to join from: Live Crusade and Coming Soon...

    When you click on any live crusade you will automatically join the crusade and start listening and when you click on coming soon, you'll be directed to a page that has 3 action buttons:Set Reminder, Add to Calendar and Share

  • With myKanisa App you can be able to discover churches and online pastors near you or in a particular geographical area.

    To find churches and online pastors follow these simple steps:

    1. Open myKanisa.
    2. On the navigation bar, click on the Find icon
    3. To see registered churches and online pastors near you, click Share Location and see registered online pastors and churches in other geographical areas, click Share Later

    myKanisa allows you to get directions to the churches and even see descriptions and devotional contents from the online pastors and churches.

  • How do I join a church ministry/department?

    You can be able to read about your available church ministries/departments and register to be member of various church ministries/departments.

    Follow these steps to see and join ministries/departments in your church:

    1. Open myKanisa App and Login to your church.
    2. On the home page, you'll see Ministries Card, Click on the card to see your church registered ministries.
    3. You will see "Church Ministries" and "My Ministries" sections, under "Church Ministries", click on the ministry you would want to read about and request to join.
    4. Click Request to join button at the bottom.

    Your church administrator will aprove your request to join the ministry. Once you are approved, the ministry will appear on the section of "My Ministries"

  • myKanisa not only allows you to set reminder to attend church events but also allows you to see description and pin location of where the event is to take place.

    Here are steps to access Event and set a reminder:

    1. Open myKanisa App and Login to your church.
    2. On the home page, you will see Events Card, click on the card to see your church events.
    3. On every event, you'll see Set Reminder button. Click the button to set reminder. (Once clicked the button changes to drop reminder, to undo the reminder click the button to change to Set Reminder)

  • Your church pastor/administrators can setup appointment sessions which you can book spaces to attend.

    Here is how to book an appointment using myKanisa App:

    1. Open myKanisa App and Login to your church.
    2. On the home page, you will see Appointment Card, click on the card to see your church available appointment sessions.
    3. Click on the appointment session you would want to attend.
    4. Select the time you would want to book space in the appointment session and the type of meeting you would want, that is, whether physical or online.

    If you book an online appointment, you will receive a meeting link automatically on your email which you will use to attend the appointment session.

  • myKanisa allows you to publish posts which you can be shared with your registered church members and the public.

    Here is how you can be able to create posts and publish them:

    1. Open myKanisa App and Login to your church.
    2. On the navigation bar, you will see an icon labelled Feed. Click on the icon to see posts published by your church members.
    3. On top of the feed page, you will see a tag written What's on your mind. Click on that section to be directed to a page where you can be able to create and publish posts.
    4. In this page, you will see a section that allows you to pick/select the photo you would want to post and a section where you can write a description to your post.
    5. If you would wish the post you created to be public, use the toggle button to make your post public, otherwise you can click the Publish to share your post.

  • You can change your avator/profile picture in order to personalize your account and also identify yourself in the your published posts.

    Here is how to go about changing of your Profile picture:

    1. Open myKanisa App and Login to your church.
    2. On the navigation bar you will seeProfile, click on the profile icon to see your profile.
    3. Click on your avator/profile picture icon, then click on upload image to select avator image from your gallery.
    4. Crop the image you select to your preferred sizing then click finish cropping.
    5. Wait for your image to load then click Change Profile Pic to update your profile picture.

    Please note that you need to be patient when uploading your profile picture to allow them to load.

  • You can be able to download your own personal church ID which will give you the sense of identity and help your church ushers to automate the process of collecting church attendance.

    Download your church personal ID using the following steps:

    1. Open myKanisa App and Login to your church.
    2. On the navigation bar, you will see profile icon, click the icon.
    3. You will see Download Church ID button. Click the button to download your own church ID

    You could find your church ID in your phone's file manager under downloads. The format of the ID is PDF, which you can print and laminate and always carry it using your wallet.
